‘I’m a more honest man than you’: Trump ends Piers Morgan interview
Piers Morgan has released the second part of his much-watched interview with Donald Trump, an encounter which he says found the ex-president in a bad mood – even though Mr Trump insisted the conversation ended perfectly at the friendly.
In the first segment of the interview, which aired last night, the ex-president insisted that he had deterred an invasion of Ukraine during his tenure by threatening Vladimir Putin “like he didn’t never been threatened before”.
Ahead of the screening of their conversation, Mr Morgan called Mr Trump ‘pathological’ in his fixation on the alleged theft of the 2020 election, a conspiracy theory the reporter insisted there was no had no proof.
Meanwhile, the president’s supporters are hoping he will go back on his own words and seek a return to Twitter after Elon Musk struck a deal to buy the platform.
And on another front, Mr. Trump was found in contempt of lawsuits brought against him by New York Attorney General Letitia James, who is investigating allegations of fraud in the Trump Organization’s real estate dealings. The ex-president and his associates have now been ordered to pay a daily fine of $10,000 until the records are returned.
PSAKI takes on Trump for spending $15 billion on border wall
White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Monday criticized former President Donald Trump’s approach to handling the US immigration system in response to questions about the situation facing the Biden administration. on the southern border today.
Under repeated questions about the death of a National Guardsman who drowned last week while trying to help migrants in the treacherous Rio Grande, Ms Psaki blamed the Trump White House for spending four years in office without passing meaningful immigration reform legislation through Congress.
“Well, I would just say – if we go back a few years to, sort of, what we inherited here – the former president invested billions of dollars in a border wall that was never going to work. or be efficient, instead of working on comprehensive immigration reform,” Ms Psaki said.

Piers Morgan screened the second part of his interview with Donald Trump on Tuesday afternoon, revealing that the former president did not come out with a bang.
A heavily edited trailer for the interview released last week seemed to suggest that Mr Trump angrily left the interview amid questions about his so-called ‘big lie’ that he had really won the election of 2020.
