White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Monday criticized former President Donald Trump’s approach to handling the US immigration system in response to questions about the situation facing the Biden administration. on the southern border today.

Under repeated questions about the death of a National Guardsman who drowned last week while trying to help migrants in the treacherous Rio Grande, Ms Psaki blamed the Trump White House for spending four years in office without passing meaningful immigration reform legislation through Congress.

“Well, I would just say – if we go back a few years to, sort of, what we inherited here – the former president invested billions of dollars in a border wall that was never going to work. or be efficient, instead of working on comprehensive immigration reform,” Ms Psaki said.

Piers Morgan’s new show Uncensored aired for the second time on TalkTV today (April 26), featuring the final episode of his interview with US President Donald Trump.

Piers Morgan screened the second part of his interview with Donald Trump on Tuesday afternoon, revealing that the former president did not come out with a bang.

A heavily edited trailer for the interview released last week seemed to suggest that Mr Trump angrily left the interview amid questions about his so-called ‘big lie’ that he had really won the election of 2020.

John Bowden has the story:

“He was already simmering with anger about the confrontation over the alleged stolen election,” Morgan said before broadcasting Trump’s full walkout of the interview.

The host accused the ex-president’s “incredibly incompetent” communications director, Taylor Budowich, of not handling the interview before “all hell broke loose”.

“Look, it was a 20-minute interview,” Trump said before Morgan distracted him with a question about a hole-in-one.

His seventh. Which isn’t that high, believe it or not.

“It was a great interview,” Morgan said.

” Yep I’m fine. Turn off the camera,” Trump replies before, in effect, leaving without saying goodbye and walking out.

But, was he raging?

“Twitter is boring now,” Trump says in the interview, which was recorded before Elon Musk’s takeover.

“They are sick, they are mentally ill, I really believe that,” he added in response to society clearing Vladimir Putin and other authoritarians.

Trump gave his answer to the toughest question in politics: what is a woman?

“I’m not going to answer the question,” Trump said, before answering the question. “But a woman is someone who swims at a certain point and doesn’t get beaten 30 seconds by someone who was a man.”

“Poor Harry is driven by his nose, and I think he’s embarrassing,” Trump said, adding that he had never been a fan of Meghan Markle.

“He was so disrespectful to the country, and it’s a big country, I own a lot of things there,” he adds. “It will be very interesting what happens.”
