NIELIT Recruitment 2022: The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) is recruiting eligible and qualified candidates for the position of Scientist-‘C’ and Scientist-‘D’ at STQC. There are 27 vacancies for these positions. The number of vacancies is provisional and may increase or decrease, as needed. The maximum age limit is between 35 and 40 years old. The upper age limit for disabled persons SC, ST, OBC (wherever the positions are reserved) (minimum 40% disability) and other special categories of persons shall be relaxed in accordance with the government. Rules and orders issued from time to time.
The selected person can be posted anywhere in INDIA for the benefit of the Organization. Interviews will only be conducted in Delhi. Direct recruitment to the positions of Scientist C and Scientist D would be through a three-step process, i.e. selection test, assessment of academic records followed by personal interaction/interview . The application fee for the general category is Rs. 800 and there is no fee for SC/ST/PWD/Women applicants. The deadline to apply is 04.11.2022 until 5.30 p.m.

The salary will be between Rs. 67700 to Rs. 208700
Scientist ‘D’
The salary will be between Rs. 78800 to Rs. 209200
Selection Process for NIELIT Recruitment 2022
I. Direct recruitment to the positions of Scientist C and Scientist D would be through a three-step process, i.e. selection test, assessment of academic records followed by personal interaction/interview .
ii. The screening test would be qualifying in nature and would include multiple choice questions (MCQs) on reasoning, basic math, English, aptitude, attitude and leadership quality.
iii. The screening test would consist of 150 nos. multiple-choice questions to be answered in 150 minutes.
iv. Candidates qualifying for the pre-selection test with a minimum of 60% marks would only be considered eligible for the next level of the selection process, i.e. the assessment of academic records. In the event that a sufficient number of candidates in the OBC, SC and ST categories are not available with a minimum of 60% selection test scores, the qualifying scores could be relaxed to 50% for the OBC category and 40 % for SC / ST categories. (wherever positions are reserved)
v. The list of qualified candidates for the selection test, however, would be narrowed by applying a ratio of 1:6 (i.e. six candidates for each position) in order of merit and reserve to qualify for the first stage.

iv. The application will only be considered complete if all mandatory steps have been successfully completed. If the applicant is unable to submit fees by the closing date and time, or the application is otherwise incomplete, their application will be summarily disqualified.
v. Applicants can view application details from the View/Print Application menu option available in their login. The applicant is responsible for ensuring that the “application status” on the application form is “successfully submitted”, otherwise the application will be treated as incomplete and summarily rejected.
