This Spanish "Alcoholica Club" plays punkrock with some modern hardcore and metal influences. Spanish is the language and is probably the reason why they are mostly known in Spanish speaking countries like Argentina, Mexico and of course Spain itself. Album #10, "Tiempos Oscuros", is a pretty diverse album, from straightforward punkrock in the vein of the German Onkelz (horrible; "Piedra Contra Tijera", "Inocentes") to fast but catchy punksongs (ugh...; "El Beneficio De La Duda", "Las Pequenas Cosas") to more groovy and heavy songs that remind you of bands like Biohazard (the only type of songs I like of this album; "Tiempos Oscuros", the first part of "Stop Criminalizacion") or even Motörhead (some of the guitarwork in "A Solas Con El Mundo"). The sound is very good, lots of bass, lots of groove, heavy production. Interesting band if you're into this kind of thing, the band is tight and probably a force live. The groovier songs show great musicianship but I couldn't care less about the simple punkrock songs, so therefore I'm stuck at a pretty average rating.
