   INTERNAL SUFFERING

rating: 5/5

1. Choronzonic Force Domination
2. Summon The Gods Of Chaos
3. Across The Tenth Aethyr
4. Baphomet Invocation
5. Legion
6. Dagon's Rising
7. Dispersion And Darkness
8. Orbiting Chaosphere
9. Enter The Gate Of Death

When I received this album I read the info sheet and one of the selling points quickly caught my attention. It was produced by Erik Rutan (ex-Morbid Angel, Hate Eternal). I'm familiar with Internal Suffering's music and the quality of the albums that Mr. Rutan produces so I knew "Choronzonic Force Domination" would be a killer album.

The first track on this album didn't impress me that much but as soon as the second song began it started to sound like the Internal Suffering I knew, very dark and brutal.
What I really like about this album is that is has very chaotic/brutal songs and heavy/brutal songs. It may sound strange but if you heard the album you know exactly what I'm talking about. This album has all the elements you're looking for in a great death metal album. The quality of the production is awesome, the band's playing style is very technical and it's not monotonous. Compared to "Chaotic Matrix" (which I thought was a good album), I'd say "Choronzonic Force Domination" is better and more mature. Internal Suffering definetly took a big step forward with "Choronzonic Force Domination" and their already large following is certain to grow in the years to come.
Besides the production and the music itself, another thing that caught my attention was the artwork. It's very detailed and mind boggling, the cover art was done by Studio Sho (Mortician, Deeds of flesh). My favourite tracks on this album are: "Summon The Gods Of Chaos" and "Legion".

I don't have any complaints about this album, like the info sheet said it was produced professionally to reach a wider audience of metal fans and I think it will!
