When I put the CD in my player a CD-rom feature starts up and I read a little about this band from Germany (Heinsberg area). The bio is a bit too much self-glorification for me, I don't like that (modesty is a virtue, I'd say) and I read the music is supposedly a mix of nu metal, hardcore and funpunk, which is pretty much everything I don't like in heavy music. So with fear I hit the play button, but I was relieved to hear a very pleasant mix of several rock styles. Not really the type of thing we normally review here, but there are great melodies, heavy riffs where needed and esp. good songs.

This debut CD starts with a circus intro - the bandname was chosen to fit the diverse and colorful mix of styles and they claim it's even more of a party live! I've been told they even have some circus attributes, like certain decorations and a trampoline, in their shows! Their music is fairly alternative and modern rock I guess, but not as shallow as what I know of funpunk, not the continuous over-the-top-screaming of hardcore, no jumping up and down and not a lot of rapping (just a few spoken parts here and there in the vein of Linkin Park). Each song is versatile, combining good melodic vocals spiced up with some cool hardcore type of punches here and there, and modest moments with heavy riffing, always perfectly dosing emotion and aggression exactly where needed. The last three (bonus)tracks come from the 2002 demo and the CD ends with a hidden outro. Hard to describe what's going on there, but it's funny and cool, so listen for yourself ;)

If you appreciate rock music in general I suggest you check these guys out. It's hard to point out highlights as most songs are good, but my favorite is "In Motion" that you can listen to on their website.
