   C-FICTION
The Power of Being Advanced

3. Collapsing
4. The Thing that I Got
5. Suck It up!

C-Fiction was labelled as cyber-thrash so I immediately got interestd in them. When their EP arrived, I put it into my hi-fi and pushed the play button and at the same time started to browse the internet for some information about them. I found all positive reviews but as the cd went forward, I got more and more disappointed.

Now stop wondering what might cyber thrash sound like, that style has not much to do with C-Fiction. In their case the most important question is what bands does your music takes after? The lack of own ideas is more than obvious and I was very diplomatic. This album could be taken as a tribute to Fear Factory, Korn, Mudwayne and most of all Slipknot. The similarities are very strong! If these bands were not around, we could praise C-Fiction but in the present situation they simply used their melodies and structures, and that is not a compliment. Maybe it is the Warhammer-syndrome again but I guess it is not the case here.

P.S.: Using some futuristic synths here and there is far from putting the cyber label to the music.
