I'm sure every stoner lover have met the name of Lunasound Recording. Acid Ape is one of their bands. Their first cd was released last year, consisting of the reworked/repolished versions of their songs from their previous three demos. I don't know what changes have been made on the songs, but I know they should have kept these songs as secret demo material, nothing more. Sure, their stoner side is heavier than other bands' but they don't have any originality. From already the first moments the whole album is repetative and boring. Listening to themes played a thousand times before is really not an exciting thing to do. They are also influenced with noisecore and some alternative, Seattle-styled music, have some psychedelic moments but it's just normal with these kind of bands. Of course, as every album, "Fleshpa" has better moments as well. But I'm easily getting impatient when I'm supposed to listen to such painful stuff like this is. So after the first listen I gave "Fleshpa" I'm not sure if I will ever wish to listen to it again. Now only one question is on my mind: what potential have Lunasound seen in it?
